At Viridian Creations, you will find artworks created by myself, a sole artist, who is inspired by the wind, the sea and big skies.  Figures and nature are also an intrigue, as well of the interplay of light and shadow on various subjects. 

When I ask myself, “why do I create”, I think immediately of atmospheric seascapes which I have been drawn to for the past couple of years.  Nuances of deep blues, greens and greys have also been taking up residence on my palette. I am captivated by the the way in which colour can evoke emotion. I also create because there are stories that only the jab and stroke of a brush and a stained palette knife can narrate. The stories become poetry on canvas and my midnight painting frenzies entice them to emerge.
